We’re a “back-to-the-roots” spice company whose focus is flavor, quality, and ease. Our rubs are built to be really really good renditions of what they are – nothing more, nothing less. This makes them extremely easy to use and build upon, which equates to them being great for beginners, very useful for experts, and fun for everyone in between.
Our Story
Lakes Spices started while I was working behind a desk in a high-rise (with a grill waiting for me at home).
I'd already been grilling, smoking, and exploring regional flavors for about twenty years as a hobby when I decided to quit the 9 to 5 and go all in on cooking.
After years of making my own blends and sharing them with friends and family, I decided it was time to turn that passion into something more.
And that’s how Lakes Spices got started. We hope you love them, too!
